For the first half of this game, I really thought the Sox were going to win easily. Then Matt Joyce hit a 2-run home run to tie the game in the 6th, and the Sox fell apart late. As usual. Not much else to say on this one - it was a game the Sox had until the pitching let them down. Maybe the off day will help before they head to Texas to face AJ Pierzynski.
Stat of the Day: In the 8th inning or later this year, the Sox have scored 12 runs while giving up 20.
