Happy Day of Birth, Nathan Ian Chiu!
- Check out the Lollapalooza lineup! Amazingly, I've actually heard of some of these bands.
- "Alex Rodriguez will make more this year than all the Houston Astros combined -- a lot more. And he won't even play the first half of the season -- if at all." Love it.
- Bungie is showing off Destiny. Check it out!
- Baseball season is basically here. The projected starting lineup for the Sox is...
1. CF: Alejandro De Aza
2. 3B: Jeff Keppinger
3. RF: Alex Rios
4. DH: Adam Dunn
5. 1B: Paul Konerko
6. LF: Dayan Viciedo
7. SS: Alexei Ramirez

- Amanda Knox retrial! Oh, the controversy.
- Check out Parks and Rec characters as Justice League heroes. April as Aquawoman = excellent.
- Funbag.
- The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have a new video that is apparently NSFW, so I'll have to wait until I'm home to watch.
- I just remembered this commercial, and I want to share it with you. [video]

- How often do you need to wash your clothes?
- Here are some more details on Digg's upcoming Google Reader replacement. Pretty decent sounding, I think. Integration with Facebook or Twitter would be pretty cool. Then I could really get all my news in one spot.
- Oh my god, a Classical article on The 6th Man. I loved this movie. Hell, I own the DVD.
- Is the NFL ready for an openly gay player? What does it even mean for the NFL to be ready? Maybe the question is more like... is a gay NFL player ready to be openly gay? I like that more.
- Show me a worthy fifth thing. Seriously. Show me.

- It's March Madness time.
- When the Blackhawks were on their winning streak, the question kept coming up of which streak was more impressive, theirs or the Heat's? To me, the more unlikely a streak, the more impressive it is. Which is why, according to this study, I think the Hawks' streak was more impressive.
- Live Funbag.
- FIU is getting a new court, and it could go horribly awesome.
- I promised you five things today, so here's your random article of the day: 'Truth serum' won't reveal mind of James Holmes

- Here's the Lover's Guide to the NCAA Tournament. I particularly like this line: "I'm picking Duke to win it all this year because I hate myself."
- Sorry,

- Tomorrow, I promise.

- Check out some hideous uniforms in sports history. Some don't seem to belong on here (c'mon those Mighty Ducks unies are great), while I can think of at least one that is missing (Canucks). Also, the fourth image is great.
- Here're some fun maps showing NCAA team loyalties by regions. Also, there are way too many Duke and North Carolina fans. Jeez.
- Google is expected to unify its various chat platforms into one: Babble.

- Digg to the rescue?
- NHL realignment is official. I'm not generally a traditionalist, but I'm finding myself agreeing with those that are upset about the Blackhawks and Red Wings being broken up. And further, it makes no sense to have 2 divisions of 7 and 2 of 8.
- The Classical on Skip Bayless.
- Samsung seems to do things pretty well. Good timing on the GSIV, I think.
- NHL Roundup.

- Why We Watch: Jack Wilshere, Force of Concord.
- Jeff Gordon is quite the prankster. Just imagine if that guy had a heart attack. [video]
- Perfectly timed photos. My favorite is... #17 [via Matt]
- God fucking dammit I love Nick Offerman. And everyone else in this video. [video]
- Google's killing Reader, which is quite depressing. Reader is up there with Gmail and regular ol' search as the most important Google apps to me. How this impacts the quality of stories I post on here is yet to be determined. They couldn't be too much worse, I suppose.

- Sometimes seemingly meaningless actions in sporting events can have major implications on gambling outcomes. For example, see the Iona vs. Manhattan ending from last night.

- A new Deadspin layout means another disaster to get used to.
3/12 UPDATE: One thing that's changed that I love is that now I can read entire Deadspin articles from within Google Reader. Some sites do this, while others force you to click through to their website to see full articles. The former is way better.
- I'm not sure I buy that a mouse click burns 1.42 calories.
- Big Breaks for Blowjobs: The Dark Underbelly of the Miss USA Pageant

- New Facebook News Feed.
- Here's the Hangover Part III trailer - it looks lousy, yet I couldn't help but laugh at the giraffe part.
- The Big East's new name is likely to be... "America 12". Wow that's dumb.
- More Chris Sale! (5 years worth.) This should make Nate happy.
- I loved (and still love...) Legends of the Hidden Temple, regardless of the difficult final maze. Maybe even because of the difficult final maze!

- Live Funbag.
- It's Google Play's first birthday! To celebrate, check out some of the special offers.
- NBC may replace Jay Leno with Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Fallon with Howard Stern pretty soon - this makes me pretty happy. I've never liked Leno since the whole Conan fiasco, and Howard Stern on NBC late night? Hilarious.
- "Now England's hopes of European conquest in this esteemed club competition come down to that complex, roll-your-sleeves-down football collective from North London, Arsenal. Which is effectively the same as saying that the EPL is out of the big cup." :-(
- Some hockey fights I like, some I don't. Not sure how to feel about this one.

- I find it pretty interesting - perhaps paradoxial - that Bradley Manning has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.
- Funbag.
- Hawks vs. Wild tonight - who ya got?
- RIP Hugo Chavez?
QotD: "Go run on Dunkin'." - Angelica, woman who stopped a Dunkin' Donuts robbery by throwing coffee on the robber, and then muttered this sentence.

To make up for the last few days, I'll post Five Things today.
- Sinkholes seem kind of scary. You could just be sleeping in your bed and then BAM. Gone.
- Who wants to try the 7x7 Steakburger at Steak 'n Shake?
- Well, apparently we're all screwed.
- YouTube does the Harlem Shake. [video-ish]
- ESPN wants to make sure you know that Rory McIlroy left the course early and is in a bad place mentally.
