- Google Latitude users, beware, the service is being shut down on August 9. Use G+ as a replacement - it's not the best solution now, but I think it will get better over time.

- Here's a pretty cool map that details the breakdown for the All Star Final Vote. Unfortunately, I don't think I've ever cared less about the vote.

- So, potentially half of the victims in the SF plane crash (OK, 1 person...) could have died not from the crash itself, but from being run over by an emergency response vehicle.

If you thought Five Things had been struggling lately, wait till you see what it's like post-Google Reader shutdown!

- The 30.

- What's your final Google Reader score? I really wish it kept track of more than 300,000, because I am well beyond that mark. I think I started using Reader in 2008.

- Let's talk more about Reader's shutdown today. Here's an example of the main reason I'm so upset: this screenshot is of Google Reader's articles posted at 12:20pm, and here is the next-best option available, Feedly, at the same time. Feedly is behind. Why can nobody get RSS right?
