- I sure do love the Streisand Effect.
- The White Sox will travel the least among AL teams next season, which means they will at least make it to the World Series.
- I'm not sure why I hadn't concluded before reading this article that many NFL fans only exist because of fantasy/gambling. After all, gambling's the only reason I care about the NFL. Also, this guy is totally Brian:
"When he missed it, I cheered a terrific Cardinals victory, but a guy behind me groused. 'I got Gostkowski on my team,' he said. 'I need those points.'"
- The 30.
- Remember when Jay Mariotti disappeared for a while? Yeah. Those days are over.
i like how techdirt got called out on overzealously concluding streisand effect -- not sure if that was there when you originally read the article

ReplyDeletethought it'd be a interesting to check on the "theory" that the white sox should at least make it to the world series next year but only through the loosest sense of research linked from the original fg article on how much teams traveled in the past seven years on avg per year -- from the top ten least travelers only the cards, white sox, tigers have made it to a world series in the past seven years
ReplyDeletealso i'd like to note that the original article uses the city name to represent teams and an (n) or (a) to be more specific when necessary which is really stupid in my book while today's article uses the team names which is way better and not just because i don't know if the yankees are in the al or nl but partially because i don't
because i don't know who any of them are i don't keep them straight so i don't know if i've said this before but i don't know who jay mariotti is -- that's some chicken-egg s*** right there know what i mean
ReplyDeleteHa, didn't see that. I love the non-Streisand Effect!
