- Those obnoxious FBI warnings on DVDs are multiplying! Yes, two additional warnings are being added to DVDs - one to warn users, and another to educate. The educational one is rather amusing:
"Piracy is not a victimless crime. For more information on how digital theft harms the economy, please visit www.iprcenter.gov."
- MLB wants to get rid of the fake-to-third-throw-to-first move that, according to Yankees reliever Boone Logan, works "maybe once in never." He must not have seen when it worked against the White Sox earlier this year. I'll agree that the move is stupid, but I see no reason to ban it.
- Oh my God, Dish Network rules. Today they are introducing the "Auto Hop" feature, which lets viewers automatically skip commercials for most recorded primetime HD programs, when viewed the day after airing. I give you major props, Dish Network, even though I think you otherwise suck.
- Robotic butt cheeks!
To prevent another day of only four things, here's your random article of the day! Hooray!
- Oooh, it's not too bad either - Check out some Assassin's Creed III gameplay!
i wonder who would go to the actual effort of visiting iprcenter.gov -- pirate or otherwise
ReplyDeletelet's bring back the infield fly because that's just common sense
ReplyDeletei had to stop watching when the guy started slapping and caressing the cheeks
ReplyDeleteFunny you mention it, I went right away. I wanted to read how exactly piracy is hurting the economy, but I couldn't find much hard evidence. Course, I didn't really look that hard either.
