- Reducer.
UPDATE: What would you rather see, a weekly Reducer or Fifth Official? Or both? Or neither?

- Scottie Pippen's open letter to the Chicago Bulls is long and full of cliches. Still, it's a nice gesture.

- Funbag.

- Bristolmetrics.

- The Manchester Derby set a record for most-watched Premier League game on US cable television, with a 0.8 rating. This is in spite of certain people who felt the game didn't belong on ESPN.

  2. chris ryan's sole purpose in life appears to be to ignore what's going on in a soccer game and then report on it -- city won because of the nasri/zaba combination on the right with giggs tucked in narrow while it was kompany and not lescott tracking rooney for most of the game
