- I know I somewhat mentioned this yesterday, but I'll go into more detail now: ESPN Soccernet fans (are there any?), you have one day left of Soccernet before all ESPN soccer news falls under the ESPNFC umbrella. I really hope this change improves their coverage. It sure should.
UPDATE: It's happeninggggg.
UPDATE 2: And it looks horribleeeeee.

- Contrary to what most/all sports fans wanted, people at NBC think that perhaps they should have tape-delayed more events during the Olympics. Let this serve as an unnecessary reminder that money trumps everything.

- Jerry Sandusky is writing a book in prison. Let's hope its title is even better than his first book, Touched, which came out well before the scandal broke.

- Bye RVP.

- Here's some confusing information on Halo 4's player Specializations. I have no idea what I'm reading, but it seems kind of stupid.

  4. hopefully the espnfc umbrella means finally unifying all their things under one feed -- i have a normal soccernet newsfeed plus a special one for michael cox's columns because they show up under regular espn and sometimes espn likes to throw in stories about the atlanta falcons fullback michael cox

  5. but the 6 news reporting team doesn't seem that reliable in the first place:

Sandusky is reportedly being provided with the paper and pens, or whatever he’s using to write with, by the prison, the 6 News sources said.

  6. Legal experts tell 6 News it is unlikely that Sandusky could make any money off of a book written in prison, because convicted felons are barred from profiting from writing about their crimes.

  15. i guess when you level up past 50 you get to choose a specialization that gives your master chief some added skills but you probably have to do specific things to level up within a specialization and you can't start a different specialization without finishing the one you're already enlisted in -- wonder if for multiplayer you just like choose a character specialization or if none of the specializations're available
