- Would you mind seeing ads on MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL uniforms? I don't have an issue with it. And if it means fewer commercials, then GOD YES PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! (My opinion is so strong that I even commented on the article!)

- Well, this is probably why we haven't seen any Funbags lately.

- It's National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day and here're some spots you can grab the sandy around town. [via Nate]

- Scare chicken!

- Read about the enthralling battle for fourth place in the EPL! Fun stuff.

  1. i don't think it would decrease the amount of commercials just because of how those sports and leagues are structured but probably would just be another way for owners to line their own pockets but in theory it's nice

  2. Sadly, I think you're right. I don't see the games changing a whole lot. At best, maybe they'd cut a commercial here or there, but there would surely still be quite a few. The existence of the "time out" in three of the four sports pretty much guarantees that, and baseball will always have breaks between innings.

Maybe they'd cut the lengths of commercials, too, which would still be worthwhile to me.

  3. i'm assuming that's the guy that writes/compiles funbag and the story is nice but what a weird and awkward position to put your readers in even if they're wondering because uh this is a sports website and not everyone is wondering

  4. Yeah, I've seen posts like that show up on Deadspin from time to time. While they can be good reads, I, too, wonder what they're doing on a sports website.
