- Here’s somewhat of an interesting read on how seven-game series came to be, which includes this quote:
“[T]he structure of determining a champion in professional sports is still based as much on superstition as it is on rational thought.”
- A man proposed to his girlfriend on a flight, which doesn’t seem too newsworthy to me. But hey, we got a good quote out of it:
“The cabin erupted in applause as Williams said yes. Shandiz then presented her with the ring and the couple kissed awkwardly in the cramped cabin.”
- I like when scientists come up with cool ideas, like genocide-inducing mosquitoes.
- Longest Hot Wheels track ever.
- The McRib is back, which is amazing news for some people. Not really for me though. I mean, it’s good, but I don’t see how anyone can prefer it to a Big Mac.
